Midnight Flight (50cm)

Description

“Midnight Flight” is a striking 50cm round artwork that captures the serenity of a flock of birds gliding across a pond on a starlit night. The deep black surface is painted in acrylics, layered with delicate speckles suggesting distant stars, while the 3D modelled birds – designed and printed by me – take flight across the piece.

Finished with a glossy coat of resin, the surface reflects like water, adding depth and movement. At certain angles, the underside of the birds reveals itself, as though mirrored on a moonlit pond. This combination of light, reflection, and form creates a living, dynamic artwork that changes as you move around it.
